Beyondfacades.

We make difficult architecture buildable. Since 1964.

A Paretimilano studio sketch, study 1, a loose pen study of a facade and partition, cream ink and colour washes on a warm ground

The authorship.

Before the system,the question.

Every facade we have built started as a conversation with an architect. A problem the catalogue could not solve, and a pencil. We do not specify from a brochure. We listen to what the architect is after, then engineer the assembly that delivers it. Sometimes that assembly exists. Sometimes we author it ourselves.

The material.

Material isnever alone.

Stone. Timber. Metal.

Steel takes the load and the water. Aluminium takes the frame, in every way it functions. Glass brings in the light, and the sight. In front of all of it can sit a skin in timber, metal or stone, closing the gap between inside and out. The work is in how they sit together, and how the room reads once they do.

And then, glass.

And then,glass.

Every material we build, you can see.

Except the one that matters most. Always already there, deciding the light, the view, the way the whole wall holds together. Never chosen from a catalogue. Judged, for the building.

The palette.

Every finish begins assomething the eye already trusts.

A grain, a sheen, a depth borrowed from the natural world. Then engineered into aluminium. Twelve families. One hundred and eighty-one colours.

Raked sand, the natural source behind the Brased finish
Raked sand

Brased

Scratched metal. Light combed into a single direction, so the reflection travels across the surface as you move past it.

The craft.

Craft.

In-house fabrication

Every profile is cut, crimped and glazed in our own workshop. Nothing leaves the floor before it earns the drawing it came from.

FOM automation

Italian machining centres run the line, using the same automated fabrication the profile was designed for in Italy.

Three generations

Steel first, then aluminium profiles, now full facades. The workshop has been in the family since 1964.
